Home Canning
Oh, my house does smell good!  I just canned 7 pints of applesauce, 4 smooth and 3 chunky.  I like my applesauce tart, so I didn't use any sugar.  It is sooooo yummy.  I forgot how much better homemade applesauce is than the store-bought stuff.  Gotta love local Macintosh apples!  I cooked it overnight in the crockpot and then canned this morning and that had to be the easiest canning job I've ever done.....I'll definitely use that method again!
I also canned 3 pints of tomato sauce from tomatoes out of my very own garden.
And on Friday my mom and I canned 14 pints of pears from the trees at my brother's house.
